Mia Boostrom is unlike most seventeen year old teenagers. She doesn’t stress about Math tests, or about what to wear to the next home game. Instead, Mia is rocking out on stage to her fans. At the age of seven Mia started her piano lessons and began playing concerts for her school, as the years passed she progressed and progressed. At the age of 15, Mia had her first huge break. She was a quarter finalist on the Hit Television show ’America’s Got Talent’ on NBC. Unfortunately, She was voted off right before the live shows. From her defeat, she had a tremendous fan following.

In 2008, She played for over 20,000 screaming fans during the national anthem for the Boston Celtics at TD Bank Garden. In 2008 she released her first CD, “Lately,” a five song collection of four original compositions that are soft, acoustic and very well written. She performed with her band for over 400 people packed into her local hot spot Rick’s Music World. In March of 2009, Mia was asked to return as the comeback kid on America’s Got Talent season 4 where she sky rocketed to the semifinals. She then reached international success. Her voice has been heard from her hometown, to edge of the california coast and even some fans in Europe and South Africa. Due to her encouraging words to her fans saying “Never Stop believing in your dreams, even if you may not be the ’Exact’ American image” Mia was nominated and rewarded Breakthrough Artist of the Year by international clothing company Torrid.

In the fall of 2009, Mia worked along side Hit-Man and Grammy winning Producer, David Foster and was a feature in his nation-wide tour, David Foster and Friends. Mia’s age never slows her down. She is working toward her life goal of being a famous musician and she hopes to obtain it one day.

In 2010, she was back in LA for being selected one of Torrids Teen Models.  Another great few days of photoshoots, laughs and lots of fabulous clothes!
